Industrial Scientific is seeking an experienced HQA Manager to lead hardware testing and validation across our product development lifecycle. You will guide cross-functional teams, ensure rigorous test plans, and maintain compliance with safety agencies, while mentoring technicians and delivering high-quality validation outcomes.

You will travel to customer sites and suppliers to resolve issues, applying analytical, data-driven approaches to testing and process improvement.

Qualifications

Associate degree from an accredited engineering college or university or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of experience in hardware life cycle testing and validation.
Progressive experience managing testing and validation processes.
Experience with laboratory equipment and problem troubleshooting.
Experience establishing best practices for testing.
Experience in electronics packaging testing.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilités

Define and execute testing processes and protocols for component and system level specs.
Ensure testing complies with agency approvals (UL, CSA, ATEX, IEC, MSHA).
Lead team to troubleshoot products using data-driven methods.
Drive innovation in testing for accelerated life testing in field.
Maintain HQA process documentation and enforce validation processes.
Mentor HQA technicians and travel to customer locations (<10%).
