Qualifications

• Experience managing lab resources and equipment
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years in a technical lab/ robotics environment operating, testing and maintaining equipment
• Experience troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems and control systems
• Experience handling hardware rework, prototype fabrication, and component testing
• Experience managing lab operations and test fixture maintenance
• Experience interpreting CAD drawings, schematics and SOPs
• Experience safely operating lab equipment following safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab environments and equipment to ensure high uptime for prototype development
• Perform robot repairs and hardware rework to maintain test readiness
• Build, test, analyze, and validate robotic prototypes and subsystems using motion capture and standard lab tools
• Deliver engineering artifacts such as test reports and instructions for reproducibility
• Assess lab operations and lead process-improvement initiatives for new lab spaces
