Job summary

Tennessee Urology seeks a PET/CT Technologist to operate PET/CT equipment, document results, and train staff as part of a new outpatient PET/CT service line in Knoxville. You will follow safety protocols, perform radiopharmaceutical handling, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high imaging standards and patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program required.
• NMTCB CNMT or ARRT(N) certification current and in good standing.
• ARRT(CT) certification current and in good standing.
• BLS certification through AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT and PET/CT imaging with technical competence and patient care.
• Prepare, administer, document, and safely dispose of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with standards.
• Apply ALARA principles to protect patients and staff.
• Maintain documentation and quality assurance/QA for PET/CT equipment.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support procedures and scheduling.
• Ensure imaging protocols and inventory management are up to date.
