MidLantic Urology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using PET and CT systems, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and teamwork with radiologists and nursing staff.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT CT certification, Nuclear Medicine credentialing for PET, BLS, and experience with EMR documentation. Travel between facilities may be required, and the position emphasizes compassionate patient

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography; advanced CT certification per state.
• NMTCB or ARRT for Nuclear Medicine (PET) as required by state.
• BLS certification as required by state.

Mansioni

• Greet and prepare patients for CT/PET imaging procedures and address concerns.
• Document imaging procedures and administered substances in EMR accurately.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes as appropriate.
• Administer contrast media and radiopharmaceuticals per protocol and safety guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging results.
• Maintain PET/CT equipment and participate in continuing education.
