Job summary

Arizona Urology Specialists is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our team and drive the development of a new outpatient PET/CT service line. You will oversee radiotracer administration, image acquisition, and data archiving while delivering high-quality patient care.

The role requires NMTCB CNMT or ARRT(N) and ARRT(CT) certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of PET/CT experience. You will collaborate with physicians, physicists, and the Radiation Safety Officer to uphold safety and quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Maintain certifications in NMTCB CNMT or ARRT(N) and ARRT(CT).
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices and ALARA.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT and PET/CT imaging procedures with a high level of technical competence and patient care.
• Perform diagnostic CT procedures to include injection of IV contrast or administration of oral contrast.
• Apply radiation safety techniques to protect patients, staff, and self in compliance with ALARA principles.
• Carry out imaging protocols including radiotracer administration, patient positioning, image acquisition, and data archiving.
• Collaborate with front office and clinical teams to support scheduling and daily workflow.
• Maintain ACR accreditation standards and manage the ACR toolkit for compliance.
• Document patient demographics, manage image/report distribution in PACS/EMR.
• Perform QA/QC on PET/CT equipment according to guidelines.
• Update imaging protocols and support software upgrades.
