Job summary

Tennessee Urology Associates is seeking a qualified PET/CT Technologist to join our growing outpatient imaging team. You will operate PET/CT equipment, ensure patient safety, document studies, and support the launch of our new PET/CT service line with clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT(N) certification current and in good standing
• ARRT(CT) certification current and in good standing
• BLS certification through AHA
• 1 year of PET/CT imaging experience
• Proficient in patient positioning, radiopharmaceutical preparation/administration
• Strong understanding of radiation safety practices and ALARA principles

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT and PET/CT imaging procedures with a high level of technical competence and patient care
• Prepare, administer, document, and safely dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to standards
• Apply radiation safety techniques to protect patients, staff, and self per ALARA
• Maintain imaging protocols and QA/QC on PET/CT equipment per guidelines
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support scheduling and workflow
• Document patient demographics and manage image/report distribution in PACS/EMR
