Job summary

EMERGING BLUE is launching a new direct-to-consumer ecommerce business and seeking an experienced ecommerce leader to build and scale from the ground up. The role may be Senior Ecommerce Manager or Director of Ecommerce, depending on track record and leadership depth.

The position is highly visible, hands-on, and involves managing freelancers and internal resources. Initial focus is on bringing the site to market with scalable processes, marketing strategy, and exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a direct-to-consumer ecommerce business.
• Proven ability to manage ecommerce roadmap and KPIs.
• Strong analytical and commercial instincts with revenue-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, development, and launch of a new DTC ecommerce business and website.
• Own the day-to-day performance of the ecommerce business and identify growth opportunities.
• Establish KPIs and reporting across revenue, traffic, conversion, AOV, CAC, ROAS, and profitability.
• Partner with developers, freelancers, and other resources to manage site functionality and content.
• Develop ongoing testing roadmap to improve conversion rate and customer experience.
