Job summary

Venture-Community-Service is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults 22+ with developmental disabilities to live active, independent lives. The role includes assisting with daily tasks, appointments, and community involvement in a supportive team environment.

The position offers paid training, a sign-on bonus, and a schedule that includes evenings and weekends. Wages are $17.50–$19 per hour for full-time work, with paid orientation and benefits eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.
• Assist them to medical appointments, banking, community activities, outings, and follow support plans and medical guidelines.
