Job summary

Venture Community Services in Massachusetts seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate fully in their communities. The DSP provides daily living support, accompanies individuals to appointments, assists with household tasks, and helps them pursue meaningful activities.

New pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour, paid training, and a $1000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff (with smaller bonus for part-time).

• Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior in work, volunteer or school.
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities and community participation.
• Support medical appointments and medication administration per plans.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans.
