Venture Community Services provides support to individuals facing diverse challenges through a compassionate and dedicated workforce. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) empowers adults with disabilities to be active in daily life.

Full-time positions offer a pay range of $17.50-$19 per hour, with paid training, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance; earned paid time off and sick time are also included.

• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and their own lives.
• Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history).
• Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the program.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to empower independence.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal care.
• Accompany to medical appointments, banking, community activities; follow Behavior Support Plans and care goals.
• Administer medications as trained and participate in required program trainings.
