Job summary

Alls Well is offering a Direct Service Professional (DSP) Internship in California. The program runs up to three months with flexible hours, up to thirty per week, and provides hands-on learning under a qualified DSP.

You will gain experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living, communication, and community participation. You will complete in-service and self-directed training, with a focus on person-centered planning, advocacy, and fostering inclusive

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) or a Certificate of Completion.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License & Personal Vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform entry-level duties under a qualified DSP for up to three months.
• Support participants with empowerment, communication, and daily living skills.
• Assist with documentation, advocacy, and health/ wellness tasks as directed.
• Participate in in-service training and self-directed education.
• Maintain person-centered focus and promote inclusion in the community.
