Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking an Equipment and Machine Operator for our dry mix plant in Texas. You will read specifications, adjust machines, and ensure material flow meets daily production schedules.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), ability to lift up to 100 lbs, stand long hours, and a willingness to work weekends as needed. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Observe dryer operation and adjust to maintain set parameters.
• Fill material bins to meet daily production schedules.
• Receive bulk truckloads of aggregates from outside carriers.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Startup machinery for daily production.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas.
• Other duties as needed.
