Job summary

Illinois Tool Works Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate to package drum pack tubular wire for customer use according to Route Card and the production schedule. You will operate equipment, read schedules, and ensure safety and quality.

You will receive training on Precision/ Robo Pack and Drum Pack machinery, run multiple machines, perform setup, adjustments and troubleshooting, and help with restock and housekeeping while maintaining reliability in attendance and performance.

Qualifications

• Machinery training on Precision / Robo Pack and Drum Pack is required.
• Able to lift ~65 pounds continually.
• Able to load/unload reels safely from machines.
• Able to meet/exceed production rates.
• Able to meet safety, attendance, and time-management expectations.
• Quality record is important.
• Strong attitude, communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Willing to train on and operate other machines / processes as necessary.
• Read and update schedule.

Qualifications

• Training on applicable Precision / Robo Pack and Drum Pack machinery is required.
• Able to lift approx. 65 pounds on a continual basis.
• Able to safely load / unload reels in and out of machine.
• Able to meet / exceed specified production rates.
• Able to meet expectations for safety, attendance, and time management.
• Possess an excellent quality record.
• Possess an excellent attitude, communication, and team working skills.
• Forklift experience may be required.
