Job summary

ALS is seeking an Aliquot Technician to accurately aliquot samples in the Metals Department per our Production Management Platform. You will transport samples, follow SOPs, perform turbidity and pH checks, prepare aliquots, and report results with precision.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, physical ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety, QA, and HSE policies. Join our global team and grow with ALS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with sample aliquoting preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and QA manuals.
• Ability to handle hazardous materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Transport samples to storage locations and dispose expired samples.
• Follow appropriate methodologies and SOPs.
• Complete and interpret Chain of Custodies (COCs).
• Perform turbidity and pH verification.
• Aliquot samples for various methodologies.
• Subcontract samples to approved laboratories for analysis.
• Document activities and report results concisely.
• Interpret samples and data.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, QA manual and HSE policies.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
• Maintain safe working conditions and PPE compliance.
• Maintain clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
