Job summary

Aquent is seeking a highly organized Drug and Alcohol Program Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of a compliance program in Austin, TX. This 6-month contract role requires discretion, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information within established processes.

The role involves scheduling and coordinating drug and alcohol testing, maintaining trackers, and generating routine reports. Hybrid onsite work is required with 3 days on location weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of administrative, coordination, or program support experience.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage schedules, trackers, records, and follow-up activities accurately.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must be able to work 6:00 AM–10:30 AM CT and comply with hybrid onsite requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing the random drug and alcohol testing pool for drivers.
• Support the random selection process and track results.
• Coordinate and schedule drug and alcohol testing appointments.
• Notify drivers and supervisors of testing requirements per protocol.
• Maintain a calendar and tracker of tests (scheduled, completed, outstanding).
• Monitor testing activity and ensure follow-up is completed.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support for the Drug and Alcohol Program.
• Assist with routine reporting on testing pool status and completion rates.
• Help prepare materials for trainings and program communications.
• Handle confidential employee and contractor information with discretion.
• Follow established processes and escalate issues as needed.
