Job summary

Edko, LLC is seeking visual observer (VO) candidates to aid our Pilot staff in UAV/drone operations. A background in forestry, arboriculture, experience with UAVs or a related field is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities include performing herbicide applications when drone flights are unfavorable, and traveling for extended periods with lodging/meals covered by the company. Seasonal positions could become permanent, with company vehicle and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Background in forestry or arboriculture beneficial but not required.
• Valid Driver License with clean driving record required.
• Ability to travel and stay away from home for extended periods.
• Experience with UAVs or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support UAV/drone operations as a visual observer.
• Perform herbicide applications when drone flights are not possible.
• Travel for extended periods with overnight stays.
• Operate with vegetation management expertise and tree knowledge.
• Company vehicle and gas card provided for work-related use.
