Job summary

Edko, LLC is seeking Visual Observers to support UAV missions along rights-of-way and road sides in Louisiana. Forestry or vegetation knowledge is beneficial; drone experience is a plus. VO duties include mission support and, when UAV flights are not feasible, herbicide applications.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret maps.
• Proficient use of a laptop, radio communications and mobile apps.
• Valid driver license with clean record.
• Comfort working in inclement weather and remote locations.
• Ability to work independently for long hours and travel overnight.
• Vegetation management knowledge or drone experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform UAV mission support along rights-of-way and roadsides.
• Interpret and follow maps during operations.
• Operate laptop, radio, and mobile apps as needed.
• Maintain a valid driver license and drive travel routes.
• Work independently for extended periods and travel overnight.
• Seasonal positions that may become permanent.
