Job summary

Edko, LLC is seeking visual observer (VO) candidates to aid our Pilot staff in UAV/drone operations. A background in forestry, arboriculture, experience with UAVs or a related field is beneficial but not required.

Personnel will perform work along right-of-ways and road sides, participate in all drone missions, and may perform herbicide applications when conditions prevent flight. Seasonal positions that could become permanent.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in inclement weather.
• Ability to interpret and follow maps.
• Ability to use a laptop, radio communications, and mobile apps.
• Valid Driver License with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to work independently for long hours and out of town with extended overnight travel.
• Vegetation management experience, tree knowledge and ID skills, or drone experience is a plus.
