Job summary

Edko, LLC is seeking visual observer (VO) candidates to aid our Pilot staff in UAV/drone operations. A background in forestry, arboriculture, drone experience a plus. Work along right-of-ways and road sides; may perform herbicide applications when drone flights aren’t possible.

Seasonal positions with potential to become permanent. Edko provides a company vehicle/gas card, meals and lodging while traveling, and competitive wages with benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with a laptop, radio communications and mobile apps.
• Valid Driver License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently for long hours and travel out of town.

Job description

Edko, LLC is seeking visual observer (VO) candidates to aid our Pilot staff in UAV/drone operations. A background in forestry, arboriculture, experience with UAVs or a related field is beneficial but not required. Personnel will perform work along right-of-ways and road sides. Visual Observers will participate in all aspects of drone missions and will also be required to perform herbicide applications when the conditions are unfavorable for drone flight.
