Job summary

Opterra Solutions is seeking a Commercial Drone Herbicide Applicator to operate the AE Vision J100 spray platform across multiple states in Kentucky and neighboring regions. This role requires field operations, drone maintenance, and precise herbicide application under label requirements.

You will travel regionally, ensure safety, maintain flight records, and comply with FAA, EPA, and company policies. A Part 107A license and proven drone experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Part 107A license and proven drone flying experience.
• Ability to travel regionally for extended operations.
• Knowledge of herbicide applications, vegetation management, or related fields.
• Valid driver’s license and strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial spray drones safely and efficiently.
• Plan and execute flight missions.
• Mix and apply herbicides in accordance with label requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair drone, battery, charger, and spray system issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative inspections.
• Maintain flight, maintenance, and application records.
• Follow all FAA, EPA, state, and company safety regulations.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Follow DOT and FAA rules and regulations.
• Ability to team-lift up to 120 lbs.
