Job summary

Opterra Solutions in Kentucky is seeking a Commercial Drone Herbicide Applicator to operate the AE Vision J-100 spray platform across multiple states. You will work in field environments, manage flight missions, and perform herbicide applications with attention to safety and regulatory requirements.

This role requires a valid Part 107 license, proven drone experience, and the ability to travel for extended assignments.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid Part 107 license.
• Demonstrated drone flying experience and knowledge of UAV operations.
• Experience with herbicide applications, agriculture, or vegetation management.
• Willingness to travel regionally for multi-day operations.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety awareness.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate AE Vision J-100 spray platform to apply herbicides.
• Plan and execute flight missions and maintain flight records.
• Perform drone maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, EPA, and company safety policies.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain documentation for maintenance and applications.
