Job summary

Opterra Solutions is seeking a Commercial Drone Herbicide Applicator to operate our AE Vision J100 spray platform across multiple environments. The role involves regular travel, field operations, drone maintenance, and professional herbicide application.

Qualifications include a Part 107A license, proven drone flying experience, and knowledge of herbicide application. We value safety, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Part 107A license and UAV operation proficiency.
• Experience with drone systems, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe operation.
• Experience in herbicide applications, agriculture, or vegetation management.
• Ability to travel regionally for extended or multi-day operations.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and safety awareness.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial spray drones safely and efficiently.
• Plan and execute flight missions.
• Mix and apply herbicides in accordance with label requirements.
• Troubleshoot and repair drone, battery, charger, and spray system issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative inspections.
• Maintain flight, maintenance, and application records.
• Follow all FAA, EPA, state, and company safety regulations.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Follow DOT and FAA rules and regulations.
• Ability to team-lift up to 120 lbs.
