Job summary

Zipline is seeking a Field Support Technician to keep Zipline Drop Boxes safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations. You will travel between sites, perform inspections, light maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to meet Zipline’s high operational standards.

The role requires hands-on technical aptitude, a safety-first mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to work independently while communicating effectively with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle for traveling between assigned sites.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in varying weather and site conditions.
• Availability to work on Tue-Sat or Thu-Sun schedules.
• Six-month contract with potential to transition into a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site readiness by ensuring each Zipline Drop Box is clean, organized, safe, and operating to Zipline standards.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on DropBoxes systems and equipment.
• Complete basic repairs and light maintenance tasks to support reliable daily operations.
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues using established procedures.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate action.
• Document inspections, maintenance work, and site conditions accurately and on time.
• Escalate issues promptly to appropriate teams with clear details.
