Job summary

Zipline is seeking a Field Support Technician to keep Zipline Drop Boxes safe, reliable, and ready for daily operations. You will travel between assigned sites to perform inspections, light maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure standards are met.

The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and able to work independently, delivering an excellent experience for customers and partners. This is a six-month contract with potential for full-time conversion based on performance and

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical ability with light maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Safety-conscious with ability to spot hazards and report them.
• Reliable, detail-oriented and able to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site readiness and ensure Zipline Drop Boxes meet safety standards.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Complete basic repairs to support daily operations.
• Troubleshoot issues using documented procedures.
• Identify hazards, site deficiencies, and take appropriate action.
• Document inspections and work accurately and on time.
• Escalate issues with clear details to relevant teams.
• Communicate professionally with Zipline teams, customers and partners.
• Travel between Drop Boxes and support regional locations as needed.
• Take ownership of site issues until resolved or handed off.
