Job summary

Wing is seeking a sUAS Flight Operator for a 36-month fixed-term contract, onsite in Durham, NC. You will operate multiple highly autonomous small uncrewed aircraft systems as part of Wing's Part 135 drone delivery service, reporting to the Chief Pilot and coordinating with the Flight Operations team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in aviation or related safety-critical fields, holds a valid FAA Part 107 certificate, a clean driving record, and can work a rotating 7-day schedule.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification required.
• 3+ years UAS operations or relevant aviation/tech training.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Willingness to travel for training.
• Willing to work rotating 7-day schedule.
• Must obtain FAA medical certificate prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Chief Pilot or Assistant Chief Pilot.
• Qualify and function as a Part 135 sUAS Flight Operator for Wing's service.
• Work with the Flight Operations Manager to ensure safe daily operations.
• Communicate with crewmembers to operate the system effectively.
• Ensure Remote Operations Center readiness.
• Maintain high professional standards as pilot-in-command.
