Applied Intuition, Inc. is a Silicon Valley company driving autonomous flight tech. The Autonomy Integration Engineer bridges hardware, edge software, and field operations, splitting time between lab work and airfield testing to bring aerial systems from benchtop to live flight.

You will configure embedded Linux, deploy containerized stacks, wire mesh networks, and write glue code to keep subsystems communicating. Location options include Sunnyvale, CA or Florida/MI labs with relocation support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of robotics integration, flight test engineering, embedded systems, or autonomous vehicles experience.
• Proficient with Linux CLI, system logging, IP routing, subnets, and Docker deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end hardware and software integration for unmanned aerial systems from benchtop to active flight tests.
• Configure and deploy edge software across onboard computers and peripherals using Docker and Linux tools.
• Troubleshoot vehicle networks, payload interfaces, and sensor links in real-time with command-line tools and hardware diagnostics.
• Develop Python and C++ scripts for data reduction, log analysis, and system validation.
• Fabricate wiring harnesses, perform soldering, and define system architecture with clear diagrams.
• Configure IP routing, subnets, and network interfaces between flight controllers, radios, and ground control stations.
