Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. in Florida is seeking an Autonomy Integration Engineer for the Drone Stack team to bridge hardware, edge software, and field flight operations.

You will split time between the lab and the airfield to bring autonomous aerial systems from benchtop configuration to live operation. Configure embedded Linux, deploy containerized stacks with Docker, wire mesh networks, and write glue code to keep subsystems communicating reliably.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of robotics integration or related field.
• Proficient with the Linux CLI, Docker, and networking.
• Hands-on hardware skills: wiring, soldering, diagnostics.
• Experience with UART/CAN/Ethernet/SPI/I2C protocols.
• Ability to lead integration efforts and coordinate between software, GNC, and hardware teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead System Bring‑Up: drive hardware/software integration to active flight test campaigns.
• Deploy & Configure Edge Software: manage Docker-based stacks and Linux tools across onboard systems.
• Field & Bench Troubleshooting: diagnose networks, sensors, and payloads in real time.
• Build Test Tooling & Glue Code: create Python/C++ scripts for data analysis and validation.
• System Cabling & Electronics: fabricate wiring harnesses and perform precision soldering.
• Manage Communications & Networks: configure IP routing and local networks between subsystems.
