Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking an Autonomy Integration Engineer for our Drone Stack team to bridge hardware, edge software, and field flight operations.

The role will be split roughly 50/50 between the lab and the airfield, turning benchtop configurations into live autonomous flight. You will configure embedded Linux environments, deploy containerized software stacks with Docker, wire mesh networks, and write middleware glue code to keep subsystems communicating.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in robotics integration, flight test engineering, embedded systems, or autonomous vehicles.
• Strong Linux CLI, networking, and Docker experience.
• Hands-on hardware skills: soldering, wiring, test equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.

Responsibilities

• Lead system bring-up from benchtop to active flight tests.
• Deploy and configure edge software using Docker and Linux tools.
• Troubleshoot vehicle networks and sensors in real time.
• Develop Python and C++ glue code for data analysis and validation.
• Design and wire harnesses, perform soldering, define system architecture.
• Configure IP routing and network interfaces between flight controllers and ground control.
