Job summary

Home Instead Seattle is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support three senior clients in North East Seattle & Capitol Hill. This role involves driving shifts with weekday schedules, assisting with personal care, mobility, and companionship to maintain clients' dignity and independence.

The ideal candidate holds an active HCA/CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, and resides in the Seattle area. Full-time and part-time options, paid training, and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Active HCA or CNA certification is REQUIRED.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Resides in Seattle area and is reliable and compassionate.
• Ability to provide safe and respectful personal care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing.
• Mobility and transfers assistance; support with walking and bed/chair transfers.
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Promote safety, dignity, independence and wellbeing.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, families, and care team.

Pay: $22.00–$32.00 per hour (depending on shift)

What You'll Do

As a Home Instead Caregiver, you may assist clients with:

• Assistwith personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance
• Hands-on assistance with mobility and transfers(assisting clients with walking and getting in/out of bed or chairs)
• Companionship and meaningful conversation
• Light housekeeping, laundry,and meal preparation
• Promoting client safety, dignity, independence, and well-being
• Communicating effectively and compassionately with clients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

To be considered, applicants must have:

• An active HCA or CNA certification (REQUIRED)
• A valid driver's license and auto insurance (REQUIRED)
• Resides in Seattle area
• Reliable, patient, and has a compassionate demeanor
• Ability to provide safe and respectful personal care
