• Valid driver's license and auto insurance preferred but not required.
• Service areas: West Seattle, Central Seattle, North Seattle, Shoreline, Kenmore.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility using gait belts and other devices.
• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Give medication and appointment reminders.
• Provide care for Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Parkinson's patients.
• Support hospice care as needed.
• Promote client safety, dignity, independence and well-being.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, families and care team.

In-Home Caregiver - Short Shifts Available

Part-Time Opportunities | 2-6 Hour Shifts | Flexible Schedule

We're looking for compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers with an active HCA or CNA certification who are interested in working short shifts while making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults and their families.

West Seattle, Central Seattle, North Seattle, or West Seattle

What You’ll Do

As a Home Instead Caregiver, you may assist clients with:

• Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Safe transfers and mobility assistance using gait belts and other assistive devices
• Companionship and meaningful conversation
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer's, Dementia, and Parkinson's care
• Hospice support
• Promoting client safety, dignity, independence, and well-being
• Communicating effectively and compassionately with clients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

To be considered, applicants must have:

• An active HCA or CNA certification (REQUIRED)
• A valid driver's license and auto insurance (preferred, but not required)
• Willing to work in our Service Areas: West Seattle, Central Seattle, North Seattle, Shoreline. Kenmore
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
• A commitment to treating clients and their homes with dignity and respect

Pay & Benefits

• $22.00-$32.00 per hour, depending on shift
