Caterpillar is seeking a motivated Control Systems Engineer to join the Drivetrain Controls System Simulation and Validation organization in Mossville, IL or Washington, IL. You will develop software for powershift transmission controls, validate through simulation, bench, and machine environments, and partner with global teams to deliver robust drivetrain control solutions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute NTI software development activities for drivetrain controls design and validation.

• Define verification strategies, test plans, and data review approaches across environments.
• Support modernization projects to improve capabilities, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design reviews, software releases, and integration.
