Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Goodyear, AZ is hiring a Driver Trainee to learn the essential functions of the Driver role, gaining experience in distribution to customer locations.

You will work toward obtaining a Class A CDL within six months and supporting safe operations while you complete training. During training you’ll earn $23.00 per hour and receive day-one benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance, plus FSA/HSA, life insurance and vacation accrual.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Complete training to receive Class A CDL in 6 months or less.
• Ability to load/unload and deliver products as ordered by McLane customers.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractor to attach trailer and secure lines.
• Operate truck safely following regulations and company policies.
• Inspect equipment and submit DOT inspections as required.
• Document deliveries with handheld device and verify product temperatures.
