McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Driver Trainee in California to learn the essential functions of the Driver role, including timely distribution of products to customer locations. You will gain exposure to warehouse and other operational functions as part of your developmental process.

Responsibilities include operating tractors, adhering to safety and DOT regulations, maintaining logs, and assisting with unloading and deliveries. Training will begin at an hourly rate of $25 with weekday hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have Class A CDL within 6 months.
• Read and comprehend labels and bills of lading.
• Perform basic math and communicate effectively.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor-trailer safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Attach trailer, secure loads, and inspect equipment.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Deliver and unload to customer premises; document receipts.
• Train with Driver Trainer to learn driving operations and safety.
