Job summary

RelaDyne is hiring a Home Daily CDL Driver Class A Heavy Haul in Broussard, LA. This role offers hourly pay with overtime opportunities, plus sign-on options and quarterly safety/bonus programs.

You will be delivering tanks and bulk products to multiple locations and using onboard tech to ensure timely, compliant deliveries. Ideal candidates have a valid Class A CDL, DOT medical card, HazMat and Tanker endorsements, and at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience.
• Ability to load/unload and secure equipment safely.
• Comfort with night shifts, weekends and travel when needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow delivery instructions and comply with DOT, company and customer safety policies.
• Safely secure and deliver storage tanks, equipment or bulk products to various locations.
• Use onboard technology as directed (Smartlogix, Samsara).
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable.
• Adhere to accident and incident reporting procedures.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager.

What You'll Do

• Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
• Safely secure and deliver storage tanks, equipment or bulk packaged products to various customer or terminal locations in a timely and efficient manner
• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable
• Comply with company's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum age 23
• Valid class A CDL
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
• At least 1 year tractor trailer experience
• Ability to load, unload, strap, or chain down equipment
• Ability to drive a 10-speed
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and extended workweek-overnight and/or out-of-town travel if needed
• Safe driving record
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using a Roll-off trailer
• Experience with Land Doll Trailer
• Experience operating a Fork‑Lift

Work Environment

This position includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving, loading, and unloading products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Candidates should also be comfortable climbing steps to verify tank compartments and getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day.
