Job summary

RelaDyne is hiring a Home Daily CDL Driver Class B Fuel to deliver fuel locally in the Austin, TX area. You will stay in local routes, be home daily, and participate in overtime opportunities with a competitive pay structure.

Active carded drivers with hazmat experience can access sign-on bonuses up to 5K, plus quarterly safety and performance bonuses. A referral program and strong benefits package add to overall compensation and career stability.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 23
• Valid Class B CDL (A welcomed)
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• 1 year fuel hauling experience in tanker or bobtail
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Ability to work nights, weekends and overtime
• Safe driving record
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service

Responsibilities

• Follow delivery instructions and comply with DOT, company and customer safety policies
• Load and unload product at customer locations safely and efficiently
• Connect/disconnect hoses and operate pumps/valves
• Use onboard technology (Smartlogix, Samsara)
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely
• Comply with accident and incident reporting procedures
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

What You’ll Do

• Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
• Properly load and unload product at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner
• Connect and disconnect hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely filling tanks using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings
• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable
• Comply with Sun Coast's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

Work Environment

This position includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving, loading, and unloading products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Candidates should also be comfortable climbing steps to verify tank compartments and getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day.
