Job summary

RelaDyne in Artesia, NM is seeking a Home Daily CDL Driver Class A fuel to deliver fuels and lubricants. You'll follow delivery instructions, load/unload at customer sites, and operate pumps safely.

This role offers overtime, sign-on bonus options, quarterly safety bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will work nights and weekends, with stable year-round work in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Hazmat/Tanker endorsements.
• At least 1 year of fuel hauling experience in tanker or bobtail.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Able to work nights, weekends and overtime.
• May be subject to drug testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow delivery instructions and comply with all safety policies.
• Load and unload products at customer locations safely and professionally.
• Connect/disconnect hoses, operate pumps and valves for loading/unloading.
• Use onboard technology (Smartlogix, Samsara).
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Cross-train on Class B Bobtail.
• Comply with accident and incident reporting procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures.
• Properly load and unload products at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner.
• Connect and disconnect hoses, operate pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely fill tanks using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings.
• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara).
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable.
• Cross train on Class B Bobtail.
• Comply with company accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills.
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum age 23.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements.
• At least 1 year of fuel hauling experience in a tanker trailer or bobtail.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and overtime.
• May be subject to comply with site specific drug testing requirements which may include hair follicle drug testing.
• Safe driving record.
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current/Active loading cards.
• Experience working in industrial, refinery, or terminal environments.
• Current TWIC Card (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).

Work Environment

This position includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving, loading, and unloading products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Candidates should also be comfortable climbing steps to verify tank compartments and getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day.
