Job summary

RelaDyne is seeking a Home Daily CDL Driver (Class A) in Houston, TX to safely deliver fuel products to customers while enjoying home nightly arrangements and competitive pay.

You will follow DOT and company safety policies, load/unload at customer sites, and operate loading equipment. Earn overtime, stretch your skills, and benefit from a comprehensive benefits package in a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• 1 year fuel hauling experience in a tractor trailer tanker or bobtail.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• TWIC Card or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and overtime.
• Safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Follow delivery instructions and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures.
• Load and unload products at customer locations in a professional, safe, and timely manner.
• Connect and disconnect hoses, operate pumps and valves for loading/unloading and fill tanks safely.
• Cross train on bobtail.
• Use onboard technology (Smartlogix, Samsara).
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Comply with accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills.
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager.

What You'll Do

• Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures
• Properly load and unload products at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner
• Connect and disconnect hoses, operating pumps and valves for loading and unloading, safely filling tanks using various size hoses, nozzles and fittings
• Cross train on bobtail
• Use onboard technology as instructed (Smartlogix, Samsara)
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely, if applicable
• Comply with company accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

What You'll Bring

• Minimum age 23
• Valid class A CDL
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
• Have 1 year fuel hauling experience in a tractor trailer tanker or bobtail
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Valid TWIC Card or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire
• Ability to work nights, weekends and overtime
• May be subject to comply with site specific drug testing requirements which may include hair follicle drug testing
• Safe driving record
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service

Work Environment

This position includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving, loading, and unloading products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Candidates should also be comfortable climbing steps to verify tank compartments and getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day.
