Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America seeks a Transportation Supervisor to oversee drivers at a Vermont terminal or distribution center. You will provide daily direction, create schedules, and ensure safe, efficient operations to meet customer requirements.

You will monitor routes, manage load assignments, use routing software, and generate KPI reports while coaching staff and maintaining DOT compliance. A High School diploma and 2–5 years supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in distribution or transportation environments.
• Experience directing drivers and coordinating schedules.
• Knowledge of safety, DOT regulations, and dairy industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily work direction to drivers to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Create driver schedules and manage timekeeping and overtime.
• Monitor routes and adjust load assignments to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare and distribute KPI reports and maintain proper paperwork for each load.
• Coordinate with fleet maintenance and HR on training and compliance.
