Addison Group is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety and regulatory compliance across auto-hauling operations. You will manage driver safety, DOT/FMCSA compliance, training, accident investigations, and risk reduction.

Collaborate with Operations, Human Resources, Training, and insurance to promote safe driving and maintain accurate safety records. Travel to company locations for inspections and on-call safety support is required.

Qualificações

• Experience in transportation safety management with DOT/FMCSA compliance and accident investigations.
• Ability to coach drivers and implement corrective actions.
• Working knowledge of safety regulatory requirements and audits.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and enforce safety policies, programs, procedures, and training materials.
• Coordinate driver coaching, retraining, and corrective action with leadership.
• Lead driver safety training covering loading/unloading, defensive driving, and safe operating practices.
• Coordinate quarterly safety meetings and maintain training records.
• Monitor DOT/FMCSA and OSHA compliance and support audits.
• Audit Driver Qualification Files and verify credentials.
• Review logs and hours-of-service compliance and address violations.
• Analyze telematics data and coach unsafe driving behaviors.
• Investigate accidents and incidents and recommend preventive actions.
• Maintain accident files and required documentation.
• Coordinate with insurance on fleet accidents and loss prevention.
• Prepare safety reports and analyze trends.
• Travel to company locations for safety inspections and training.
