Job summary

Anderson Trucking Service in St. Cloud, MN is seeking an experienced Driver Safety Advisor (DSA) to join our Safety & Risk Management team.

You will coach professional drivers to improve safety performance through education and behavioral development. Leveraging your CDL experience, transportation knowledge, and mentoring skills, you will review performance data, develop individualized improvement plans, and support driver development and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CDL and hands-on tractor-trailer driving experience required.
• Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and safe driving practices.
• Strong communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
• Experience using computer systems, databases, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor drivers on safety performance, risk reduction, and regulatory compliance.
• Review driver performance, safety, and compliance data to identify trends and coaching opportunities.
• Partner with Driver Managers and internal teams to support driver development and performance improvement.
• Create and recommend individualized improvement plans, including additional training and simulator instruction.
• Analyze accident, injury, and behavioral trends to support proactive risk reduction efforts.
• Assist with road tests, driver evaluations, and orientation assessments.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation related to driver coaching and development.
• Resolve concerns professionally while fostering strong working relationships with drivers.
