Job summary

MTM Transit in Reno, NV is seeking Full Time, Non-CDL Drivers to provide safe, reliable transportation with a focus on exceptional customer service. This role supports RTC Access & Flexride and begins with ongoing training and a focus on accessibility for riders.

You’ll work with a supportive team, benefit from affordable medical, dental and vision coverage, paid training and overtime, paid holidays and PTO, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a Nevada Class C driver's license or obtain within 3 months of hire.
• No DUI or DWI convictions
• No suspensions or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
• No major moving violations in the last 3 years
• Four or more minor moving violations in the last 3 years will be reviewed
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
• Must pass criminal background check & Motor Vehicle record check
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
• Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle
• Assist with mobility device and securement as required for safety protocols
• Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop off of the customer
• Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities
• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as required
• Complete paperwork as required
• Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required

What will your job look like?

MTM Transit, in partnership with the RTC Access & Flexride, is looking for Full Time, Non-CDL Drivers to join our team in Reno, NV. We currently have training classes that start every two weeks!

What you'll need?

Experience, Education & Certifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid Nevada Class C driver's license or ability obtain within 3 months of hire
• No DUI or DWI convictions
• No suspensions or at fault accidents in the last 3 years
• No Major moving violations within the past 3 years
• Four or more minor moving violations within the past 3 years will be reviewed

• Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronicdevice
• Ability to maintain high level ofconfidentiality
• Ability to communicate with others and comprehendinstructionsAbility to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, andschedules
• Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOTregulations
• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the servicearea
