Job summary

MTM Transit in Denver, CO is seeking Full Time, Non-CDL Drivers to join our team. This role focuses on safe, reliable transportation with a customer-first mindset. The position offers an hourly rate, weekday schedule, and benefits designed to support your growth and well-being.

You will be responsible for passenger loading, device operation, and adherence to DOT and safety standards while delivering exceptional service to riders across our community network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Colorado driver's license or ability to obtain within 3 months of start.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License for the past 2 years.
• No suspensions/revocations within the past 2 years.
• No reckless driving in the past 5 years.
• No DUI or DWI convictions within the last 10 years.
• Must pass criminal background and MVR checks.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States.
• Resume with a minimum of 10 years work history.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle.
• Assist with mobility device and securement as required for safety protocols.
• Ensure on-time pick-up and drop-off of customers.
• Show understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip and DVI inspections.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required.

What will your job look like?

MTM Transit, in partnership with RTD (Regional Transportation District), is looking for Full Time, Non-CDL Drivers to join our team in Denver, CO.

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid Colorado driver's license or ability to obtain within 3 months of start
• Valid U.S. Driver's License for the past 2 years
• No suspensions/revocations within the past 2 years
• No reckless driving in the past 5 years
• No DUI or DWI convictions within the last 10 years
• Must pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle record check
• Must be able to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
• Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history

Skills:

• Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronic device
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
• Ability to communicate with others and comprehend instructions
• Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedules
• Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulations
• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area

What You’ll Do:
