Job summary

Werner Enterprises is seeking a Fleet Management Supervisor in Indiana to build and maintain driver relationships and coordinate loads to optimize operations. You will interface with billing, safety, payroll and other departments to ensure driver needs are met and service goals are achieved.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent logistics experience, plus 6–12 months of supervisory exposure, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with transportation systems and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics or 2–3 years of fleet management/transportation experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and proven management ability required.
• Experience operating computer terminals and satellite communications systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet driver needs (home time, payroll, equipment, etc.).
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Understand and align with customer dynamics and Werner service goals.
• Interface with departments such as billing, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and external vendors.
• Work with managers to maintain a full board of drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Maintain timely attendance according to shift schedule.
