Job summary

Rumpke is seeking a Driver Recruiter to source, screen, and hire qualified CDL and non-CDL drivers and driver trainees. You will partner with operations leadership to understand staffing needs, reduce vacancies, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

The role requires recruiting across multiple locations, strong interviewing skills, and knowledge of DOT CDL requirements. Travel to operating locations, CDL schools, and recruiting events is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years recruiting/sourcing experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting CDL drivers or transportation personnel.
• Ability to travel up to 30% to multiple locations.
• High-volume recruiting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals and events.
• Screen candidates via phone and in-person interviews.
• Verify CDL requirements, endorsements, driving experience and employment history.
• Coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications throughout ATS.
• Collaborate with operations leaders to understand staffing needs and reduce vacancies.
