Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Driver Recruiter to source, screen, and hire CDL and non-CDL drivers and driver trainees. You will partner with operations leadership to meet staffing needs, maintain a positive candidate experience, and ensure compliance with hiring requirements.

The role supports CDL recruitment across multiple locations, requires up to 30% travel, and offers a comprehensive benefits package typical of a large waste management company.

Qualifications

3+ years recruiting/sourcing experience preferred.
Experience recruiting CDL drivers or transportation personnel.
Ability to independently travel up to 30% to Rumpke's various locations of operation.
High-volume recruiting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Recruit CDL, non-CDL and driver trainee positions.
Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, events, and networking.
Conduct phone screens and verify CDL requirements, endorsements, and driving history.
Coordinate interviews and onboarding; maintain ATS records.
Advise managers on recruiting best practices and candidate selection.
