Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking a Driver Recruiter in a Talent Pool to lead driver recruitment and screening, ensuring compliance with DOT rules and USX guidelines. The role involves sourcing, interviewing, and offering drivers for OTR and Dedicated positions, while maintaining a strong candidate experience.

You will partner with leadership to align expectations and communicate compensation and benefits. The position supports a hybrid work model, with opportunities for remote work and in-person

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience required.
• Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested.
• 2+ years of experience in a call center environment, inside sales, or other related fields required.
• Transportation and/or Logistics industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the driver recruitment process from sourcing to closing candidates and manage expectations.
• Review MVR, DAC, and criminal background of potential applicants.
• Provide driver openings and information on USX OTR and Dedicated roles daily.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage expectations and act as an advisor throughout the process.
• Enter driver information accurately in TenStreet and ensure it flows to Pegasus.
• Promote USX programs in recruiting, marketing, referrals and postings.
• Communicate USX mission and culture to candidates clearly and effectively.
