U.S. Xpress, Inc. is seeking a recruiter to manage driver recruitment nationwide, screening applicants per company guidelines and DOT rules.

You will interview, assess backgrounds, and extend offers while coordinating with leadership to align on compensation and benefits. This role supports a hybrid work model with close collaboration across teams and remote days. The position emphasizes candidate experience, data accuracy in TenStreet, and effective communication to promote U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of experience in a call center environment, inside sales, or related fields.
• Strong communication, de‑escalation, and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the driver recruitment process to fill openings, sourcing, interviewing and closing.
• Review MVR, DAC and criminal background to determine eligibility.
• Extend offers to qualified applicants while ensuring a great candidate experience.
• Provide driver job openings and maintain knowledge of compensation and benefits.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage expectations and advise during recruiting.
• Enter driver data in TenStreet and ensure flow to Pegasus.
