Job summary

Buddy Moore Trucking is seeking a recruiter to serve as the first point of contact for professional CDL-A drivers interested in joining the team. You will educate candidates about culture, equipment, routes and career opportunities while guiding them through hiring and onboarding from first call to orientation.

No prior recruiting or trucking experience is required; we value attitude, coachability, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior recruiting or trucking experience necessary; coachability and willingness to learn prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Use ATS to respond to potential employees who meet DOT and company standards.
• Cold call and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Pre-screen potential applicants.
• Inform applicants about company culture, equipment, routes and opportunities.
• Schedule driver orientations and training.
• Run background checks, MVR, and DAC reports and perform other duties.
• Utilize social media and search engines to generate leads.
