Job summary

Buddy Moore Trucking is seeking a recruiting-focused professional to serve as the first point of contact for CDL-A driver candidates. You will educate candidates about culture, equipment, routes, and opportunities while guiding them from first call to orientation.

No prior recruiting experience is required; we value coachability, attitude, and willingness to learn as you handle scheduling, screening, and onboarding tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience or willingness to learn.
• No recruiting or trucking experience required; coachable.

Responsibilities

• Use applicant tracking system to respond to potential employees who meet DOT and company standards.
• Cold call and respond to calls quickly.
• Pre-screen potential applicants.
• Inform applicants about operations and benefits.
• Schedule driver orientations and training.
• Run reports such as background checks, MVR, and DAC; perform admin duties.
• Utilize social media and other search engines to generate leads.
