Job summary

Georgetowne Place in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a reliable driver to transport residents to stops, assist them in and out of vehicles, and support daily activities in a caring senior living setting. You will operate vehicles safely, help set up activity programs, and uphold residents’ safety and comfort while representing the community professionally.

Prioritize resident well‑being and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and lift 50 lbs+ as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and drop off residents to routed stops and assist them in and out of vehicles.
• Operate and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
• Assist Activity Director with in-house programs and setup.
• Ensure resident safety and report abuse or neglect; act as community representative.

Driver Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to the routed stops. Assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating, and the general setup for activity programs.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Reports any such instance to the Executive Director.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license. CDL endorsement preferred and required where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and ER in excess of 50lbs, as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday
